LIFE OF AGONY Bassist's SPOILER NYC Raising Money For Leukemia Research
October 2, 2007Punk band SPOILER NYC, featuring LIFE OF AGONY bassist Alan Robert on lead vocals and bass, has teamed up with lifestyle company Franky and Minx for co-branded ads and a new shirt that will raise money for leukemia research. The shirt, designed by Franky and Minx for SPOILER NYC, will go on sale this Christmas and 100 percent of the profits will go towards the cause.
SPOILER NYC's debut album, "Grease Fire in Hell's Kitchen" (SOS Records/I Scream). was dedicated to a good friend, Michael Lutz, who lost his battle to leukemia three years ago.

SPOILER NYC's video for the song "Suicide Hotel" can be viewed below. The clip was shot on May 19 in New York with directors Dale "Rage" Resteghini and Kevin Custer of Raging Nation Films. Raging Nation has also directed music videos for such acts as CYPRESS HILL, SHADOWS FALL, MUDVAYNE, TRIVIUM, HATEBREED, UNEARTH, ILL NINO, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, FALL OUT BOY and HASTE THE DAY.
SPOILER NYC recently signed a European deal with I Scream Records for the release of its debut album, "Grease Fire In Hell's Kitchen". The CD was issued in Europe on June 22 (SOS Records made the CD available in the U.S. on June 26).
"Grease Fire In Hell's Kitchen" was produced in part by Alan Robert and recorded and mixed by LIFE OF AGONY's Joey Z. at his Method of Groove recording studio in Brooklyn, New York. The 12-song album was mastered at Sterling Sound by acclaimed engineer UE Nastasi.
